Fitment Help

Get the Right Transmission Part Before You Order

Transmission parts often look similar but can vary by transmission code, OEM part number, connector style, software version, drivetrain layout, and model year. If you are not fully sure which part fits your vehicle, Contact Carpartzoom before placing your order.

VIN Alone May Not Be Sufficient

A VIN can help identify the vehicle configuration, but it may not identify every transmission-part version. Whenever possible, provide the original OE/OEM number, label photo, transmission model, connector photos, vehicle details, and any available fault-code, software, or programming information.

What to Send Us

  1. VIN.
  2. Brand.
  3. Year.
  4. Model.
  5. Engine model.
  6. Transmission model.
  7. OEM number or OE number.
  8. Part name.
  9. Photos of the original label, connector and part.
  10. Fault description, including fault codes, software or programming information when available.

How We Help

Our team checks the information you provide against product details and known application requirements. We will tell you when a part appears suitable, when more information is needed, or when a different product may be a better match.

Limits of Fitment Support

Our review is based on the information supplied by the customer and the product information available to us. Fitment support is a purchasing reference and does not replace professional vehicle diagnosis, programming, coding, adaptation, or installation.

Before Installation

Always compare the replacement part with your original unit before installation. Some modules, valve bodies, and mechatronic units may require adaptation, coding, programming, fluid service, or professional installation depending on the vehicle and transmission system.
